Description:

Hi! My foster mom calls me Thor (but I am not overly attached to it, you can name me whatever you would like) and I have the most beautiful hazel blue eyes.

I am all puppy and LOVE to run, jump and play. I'm an active little guy and want to be wherever YOU are. Don't let my powder-puff exterior fool you, I am pretty much fearless and want to try and experience everything life has to offer! I've been around kids of all ages, cats and dogs of all sizes (4 pounds to 140 pounds) and I want to get right in there and play with everyone. I like to cuddle as well, but my foster mom says I am more the "mover and shaker" type personality. I have a voice too so if you are ignoring me, I'll let you know. I'd love to find my forever home with a family that will include me in their daily routine, take me on walks/runs, play ball or tug and let me explore this amazing world around me. Oh, this is important: I would need another dog in the house, to play with and for companionship - I do not like being alone.

NOTE: Thor is a very young puppy and cannot be left or more than a couple of hours alone, even with another dog in the house. Not being alone for long will help him learn a good housetraining routine and build self-confidence.

*Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption.

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
