Zetta is on the hunt for her new home. She lost her home due to a divorce and is looking for somone who understands German Shepherds. If you're looking for a great German Shepherd who is loyal, smart, very obedient, and wants to please, please consider Zeeta. After a very short adjustment period, Zeeta gave her heart and loyalty to us.
She is a wonderful dog but a dominant female and would do best with a companion male dog/dogs or as an only dog. She does not do great with our cat or tiny dogs due to a high prey drive but she listens exceptionally well. She is a wonderful protector, and very smart. Zetta She has wonderful manners, never jumps up and has never tried to get on the furniture. It is obvious she has been through some obedience training and she loves to use her mind. She is great with my grandchildren (I always introduce her to everyone on a leash first).
She loves to play with squeaky toys, play ball (she brings it back to you) and loves to play with water from the sprinkler or hose. She walks extremely well on a leash and would love to have a daily walk. She is looking for her new person to love, protect, and give her heart to. Extra Notes about Zetta:
Zetta is housebroken (has never had an accident).
Does not use a crate but sleeps in her own room at night and when we leave - (would probably be okay left out alone but we put her away because it's a multiple dog household)
Is good with my grand kids
Not good with cats or chihuahua size dogs/ sometimes has had a stare down with my female dog and has challenged her but always stops immediately when corrected
Would not be good crated all day or home alone all day / needs companionship, exercise, and mental stimulation
Very loyal and faithful

*Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care. Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks. Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
