Description:

Cecila (we’ve been calling her Nelly because she hates her name and ignores it lol) is just the bestest little girl! She’s started showing signs like whining or getting nervous when it’s time to go potty and loves praise! Most accidents she has had have been on puppy pads by doors. She loves learning new things! She knows no, leave it, wait, and sit with many more things she’s still perfecting. She’s not a fan of the leash at all. Still working on that!

She’s a goofy little love bug. She loves her big fur brother and the cats aren’t bad, but they’re a little sketchy so she just ignores them when she can. She loves kids! She’s definitely a puppy that has to put everything in her mouth, but does great with redirects and toys and is even gentle if you’re playing and she accidentally nibbles a finger.

We spent Father’s Day out on the pontoon and she swam, slept, and explored.

* Puppies under 5 months should not be left alone for more than 4 hours at a time to help them with potty training and socialization.

It is with deep longing that we wish there was a breed called "cute" as we believe all of our dogs would fall under this new breed classification!

*Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption.

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
